Index NYC is a shared studio, event space, and community center in downtown NYC. We offer monthly memberships to our workspace and host regular public programs and happenings. Please reach out by email to request access on a case-by-case basis, or join our waitlist for membership.

Index Space is a place to gather, create, exchange, listen, and celebrate.

The paradigm for how — and why — we work is shifting. Old habits are no longer hardened. There is power in that shift, and freedom to shape spaces for new and hopeful futures.

As artists, designers, technologists, architects, writers, futurists, and friends, we are building a new space to earn a livelihood — and to enjoy living.

Patron

$720/month

Patrons have their own dedicated desk to set up as they need, as well as unlimited access to Index on weekdays and weekends. Access includes workspace at our common areas, and the use of our kitchen, call rooms & meeting room. Patrons also get a locker.

Fellow

Financial Transparency

Unlike the hulking corporate coworking spaces we've all come to loathe, Index IRL operates with open finances. We'd prefer to have the space sparsely populated, so our pricing isn't intended to be competitive with clickfarms. Instead, we want to engage our community in open planning, and build the best space we can with what we've got. At the current time, Index costs ~$21,780 per month to upkeep.
